STANDING OVATION FOR CASOLI

TRAVERSE CITY, MI – Starting pitcher Tony Casoli left the game in the fifth inning to a standing ovation from a crowd of 5,233 very appreciative Beach Bums fans on Friday night at Wuerfel Park.

With his exit from the game, Casoli officially announced his retirement effective at the end of the season. He threw 4.1 innings and struck out six in the veteran’s final start for the Beach Bums following two seasons.
