BEACH BUMS DROP SEASON OPENER 3-0
The Traverse City Beach Bums(0-1) pitching staff only

fifth, Schaumburg's Sean Godfrey lead off by stroking a double into the
left-center field gap. Two batters later, Will Soto drove him in with an RBI
single to give them a 1-0 advantage.
Zach Weigel was hit by a pitch then Josh Gardiner
reached on a fielding error to load the bases with two outs. David Harris
stepped to the plate and drove a 1-1 pitch the other way, into right field.
Both Soto and Weigel came in to score on the single, and the Boomers extended
the lead to 3-0.
