Kengor came up and drove in Garvey with an RBI single, bringing the lead to double digits.

The eighth inning was another huge frame for Traverse City, started with a Garvey one-out single. Steven Patterson then followed with a two-run blast, his fifth homer of the season. With two outs, Alexis Rivera and Kendall Patrick singled, then, Trail hit his second home run of the game, third of the season, a three-run shot, to complete the rout.
